Lindy Dowe Counselling and Psychotherapy
Southern Highlands

Welcome to Lindy Dowe Counselling and Psychotherapy, located in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.

I am a trained counsellor, psychotherapist and physiotherapist and I believe that the key to understanding our physical health is intimately connected with our mental, emotional and spiritual health.

I am committed to empowering my clients with the skills, insights and fresh perspectives to actively contribute to their own healing.

Through combining a grounded counselling and psychotherapy approach (Post.Grad. Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy) with my academic and frontline experience, I work with select groups of clients to achieve resolution of their particular issues in a holistic manner.

I work with clients across a broad range of issues such as grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship breakdowns, family / parenting issues and life transitions to name a few. To me, every client is unique, and as such I tailor each session individually to meet your needs.

Approachable

I have worked with children and families for many years, and I take a warm and considerate approach to my work.

Holistic service

When life isn’t going so well, it can manifest in both the mind and body. I take an holistic approach to helping to heal.

Caring for the whole family

Often as parents and carers we spend all of our energy on our children, and little time on ourselves. Yet your own mental and physical health is essential to the health and happiness of those in your care.

Breadth of experience

Having originally trained as a physiotherapist, I have come to understand the importance of both mind and body.

I am committed to empowering my clients with the skills, insights and fresh perspectives to actively contribute to their own healing.
